Common questions

Does laser tattoo removal hurt?

Most people describe it as a rubber band flicking the skin, over in seconds rather than minutes. Because the PicoSure laser works in trillionths of a second, it's noticeably more comfortable than older lasers, and no anaesthetic is needed.

How many sessions will I need?

Usually three to four for tattoo removal, compared with six to eight on a traditional laser. It depends on ink colour, ink depth, how old the tattoo is, and how well your lymphatic system clears the pigment. We'll give you an honest estimate at your consult rather than a number designed to get you in the door.

How much does it cost?

Tattoo removal starts at $90 a treatment for a 2cm x 2cm piece, with packs of three at a discount. Full price lists are on each treatment page. Afterpay and Zip are available.

Is there any downtime?

For HIFU and the China Doll Facial, none. After tattoo removal you'll have some redness and tenderness for a few days, and we'll send you home knowing exactly how to care for it.

Do I have to commit at the consult?

No. The consultation is free, face to face, and there's no pressure to book on the spot.
